My approach
MEG Technique
My simple formula for images that feel alive, honest, and timeless. It’s a guiding approach I use in every session to help people relax, connect, and look like themselves not a version of themselves posing for the camera.
M — Movement
I encourage natural motion; running, dancing, a playful nudge, a head toss, or a spontaneous spin because movement brings energy and narrative to a frame. I look for those in between moments that reveal personality, and I’ll capture them either crisply or with a little motion blur to convey mood. Simple prompts and playful direction help people forget the lens and let real life happen.
E — Expression
My goal is genuine reaction, not rehearsed smiles. I build comfort, tell small stories, and use prompts that spark real emotion; curiosity, laughter, tenderness, surprise. Those authentic expressions create portraits that feel meaningful now and keep feeling true years from now.
G — Growth
Photography is about preserving change. From engagements to newborn sessions, yearly family portraits to milestone birthdays, I document the small shifts and big moments that mark your story. Each session becomes a chapter in a visual timeline you can return to, showing how relationships and personalities evolve over time.
Together, MEG helps me make images that look and feel like life honest, dynamic, and lasting.
